This lamp was inspired by St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. The church is knownfor its colorful onion domes that look like flames reaching into the sky. I shapedthe lamp with scalloped layers that taper to a peak, so when lit-especially witha color bulb-it gives that same playful, magical feeling.
The structure simplifies the silhouette of Saint Basil's Cathedral into clean, stacked volumes. Multiple domes rise from a solid base, forming a recognizable but minimal profile.
Light fills the entire structure from within, turning each volume into a softly glowing form. The result is a multi-tone ambient table lamp with subtle depth.
Shadows gather between the forms, adding contrast without complexity.
By day, it reads as sculpture. By night, as light.
A decorative architectural lamp built on shape and diffusion.
