I made this one after the Palazzo della Civilta Italiana, often called the "SquareColosseum." It's a modern building in Rome with hundreds of perfect archesstacked in a grid. The lamp keeps that repeating rhythm, and when lit, it gives avery calm, balanced glow that suits minimal spaces.
The form reduces the Colosseum into a structured, square silhouette. Repeated arches cut through the surface, turning solid mass into a network of light channels.
When illuminated, light escapes through each opening, projecting sharp geometric patterns onto surrounding surfaces. The result is both structured and atmospheric—a pattern projection table lamp.
The solid exterior contrasts with the active interior glow, creating tension between weight and light.
Placed in dim environments, it transforms flat surfaces into layered architectural scenes.
A statement ambient lamp designed for shadow, structure, and visual depth.
